CONSULTATION SERVICES
Showroom Consultation
One of our designers will be happy to meet with you free of charge for an initial consultation.
The designer will educate you on the quality products and services available from
Sawhill Custom Kitchens & Design.
Hourly Consultation
To further explore the creative opportunities for your new space, our designers will do an
in-depth consultation in our design studio or at your home. Our hourly consultation rate is
$125.00 per hour, plus travel time out of the Twin Cities metro area.
PLANNING & DRAFTING SERVICES
Sawhill engages in a rigorous planning process that allows us to thoroughly understand what your remodeling project will entail. Sawhill designers use an extensive Design Survey for each and every project allowing us to customize the space to fit YOUR needs and vision. The Design Survey allows us to understand details of your lifestyle and family, as well as how you will use your new space. Our professional designers work with you to incorporate your feedback, requests, and ideas into the unique and beautiful space you desire.
Sawhill’s Planning Service includes:
- Complete needs and budget analysis
- Comprehensive project measurements
- Inventory of architectural and structural elements
- Creating floor plans, including specifications and elevations
DESIGN SERVICES
Most Sawhill projects begin with a layout of built-in or custom cabinetry for a new or remodeled space. Other design elements, such as countertops, flooring, and lighting are then incorporated into the complete design solution. Sawhill is able to prepare Universal Design layout and designs for our clients, as well as these services for all areas of the home.

Sawhill’s Planning and Design services range in price from $2,500 to $5,000 on average, depending on the size and scope of the project.

REMODELING & INSTALLATION SERVICES
After designing the project you’ve been dreaming about, it’s time to make it happen! Sawhill will handle all the details as your beautiful new space awaits you. We can provide full remodeling services for existing space or new construction, and will handle the complete installation of each element of your design.

INTERIOR DESIGN OR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN SERVICES
In conjunction with the Planning Service, Interior or Architectural Design is available from
Sawhill Custom Kitchens & Design designers or Affiliated Trade Professionals. The cost range for our specific design work ranges from $125.00 to $225.00 per hour.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Projects involve the use of many different types of products and a wide range of professionals. Your Sawhill designer, along with our Technical Support team will assist with on site supervision of the work being performed on your home. Project Managements costs can vary from
2% - 5% on average per project, depending upon the scope and size of the project.
GENERAL CONTRACTING
In addition to Project Management, some clients request that Sawhill perform all the duties and responsibilities of the General Contractor, which we will do for an additional cost.
